Chafyn Godolphin is committed to providing 20% support to the families of parents serving in His Majesty’s Armed Forces. For pupils in receipt of CEA, families pay a maximum of 10% of our boarding fees. 

To qualify for this Armed Forces discount, the following conditions need to be met:

• At least one parent serving in regular, full-time service with the HM Armed Forces (including but not limited to those who are in receipt of CEA). It is not available to children of reservists.
• Where both parents are currently serving in the regular Armed Forces, the HM Forces discount will also be 20%.
• If the parent who has applied for the HM Forces discount leaves HM Forces whilst their child is still at the school, the academic term during which they complete the last day of service will be the last term to which the HM Forces discount can be applied.

We offer a sibling discount of 5%, rising by a further 5% for additional siblings from the same family attending Chafyn Godolphin together.

Discounts continue for as long as the child remains at Chafyn Godolphin School and the discount conditions apply. Bursaries are reviewed annually.

Learning support is based on the individual needs and will be discussed during the admissions process.

Nursery and Pre-Prep

Breakfast Club

Available on Monday to Friday from 7.30am – 8.00am.  Use of this facility should be pre-booked through the front office on the previous day and incurs a charge of £6.00, including breakfast.  No charge is made for children arriving from 8.00am and children should report to their normal classroom or nursery.

Late List

Parents who need children to stay later than the end of the school day at 3.30pm may use the Late List facility until 6.00pm. Charges for this service are:
3.30pm – 4.40pm – no charge
4.40pm – 5.30pm – £7.50 per session (includes drink/snack)
5.30pm – 6.00pm – £6.50 (includes cooked supper) 

Prep School

Breakfast Club

Available on Monday to Friday from 7.30am – 8.00am. Use of this facility should be pre-booked through the front office on the previous day and incurs a charge of £7.00, including breakfast. No charge is made for children arriving from 8am who should go to their classroom on arrival.

Late List

The Prep school day ends at 4.40pm.  Prep is available for all children until 6.00pm without charge.

Extra Late Stay including Supper

Children may stay later than the above times by joining the boarding and sharing their routine, including supper, until 7.00pm. Use of this Extra Late Stay facility should be pre-booked with the front office on the previous day and incurs a charge of £7.50. Supervision after 7.00pm by the boarding house team can be provided in exceptional circumstances, if the School is notified in advance, and carries an additional charge of £6.50 per hour.

A parent contract is required to be signed prior to the commencement of lessons.  All lessons will be charged half a term in advance and are payable directly to the teacher.  The charges, inclusive of VAT, are presently:

Lessons (inclusive of VAT)
·       Per lesson per instrument – £28.00 per 30 minute lesson.
·       LAMDA Speech and Drama £28.00 per 30 minute lesson.
The teacher will plan 30 lessons per year (on average, 10 lessons per term).

Extras
·       Use of School instrument £40.00 (inc VAT) per term, per instrument (payable to the school).
If school instruments are removed from the School premises, parents must provide full insurance cover for any loss or damage incurred.

Notice
Half a term’s notice is required by email to the Director of Music – by the first day of term or before commencement of the second half of term to discontinue music or LAMDA lessons.

Squash Coaching – to be charged by cricket coach direct to parents.
Tennis Coaching – to be charged by cricket coach direct to parents.
Cricket Coaching – to be charged by cricket coach direct to parents.

Registration fee £120 (non-refundable)

Acceptance Deposit to secure a place £600. Refundable against the final term’s fees.

The Childcare Voucher scheme has now been closed to new applicants and superceded by the Tax-Free Childcare scheme.  Chafyn Godolphin is a registered provider under the Tax-Free Childcare scheme and all information on this scheme can be accessed at childcarechoices.gov.uk.
